- ABI, Doppler ultrasound, vascular exam, and risk-factor review
- Imaging or vascular referral if severe disease is suspected

- Smoking cessation, structured walking therapy, cholesterol and blood pressure treatment, diabetes control, and antiplatelet/vascular medication when appropriate
- Endovascular or surgical treatment coordination when symptoms are severe or limb risk is present
